It emphasizes on examining advanced knowledge in travel and tourism industry system and will cover issues related to the impact of tourism planning and development. This course is designed to use a practical and pragmatic approach to understand travel and tourism management. Case studies and best practices will be emphasized in this course with global insights and perspectives. Research and analytical skills will be further developed as an outcome of this course.

CILO-1: Describe the characteristics and operations of the travel and tourism industry. CILO-2: Relate and analyse the complex interplay of factors influencing tourism demand from the global perspective, and the Asia Pacific region in particular. CILO-3: Conduct data analysis and further developed their written work. CILO-4: Evaluate and critically review studies on issues and events affecting the travel and tourism industry.
