This course focuses on learning cross-cultural skills and leadership from the global perspective. The goal is to prepare students to be a successful exchange student in the study aboard program. Course includes honours seminars delivered by leaders in their fields.

CILO-1: This course will help students to understand values, beliefs, and behaviors of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and prepare students to interact and communicate effectively with people from those cultural groups. CILO-2: Through course readings, discussions, lectures, and activities, students will explore how experience, meaning, and identity are constructed and negotiated through our communication practices. A more thoughtful appreciation of other cultures will not only prepare students for their study abroad experience next semester, it will also help position them to take on future leadership roles in a global context.
