This seminar not only reviews many most recent literatures on global history, but also aims to introduce paradigms, themes/topics, periodization, methods, perspectives, challenges and problems, and cases studies in global history.

CILO-1: Identify major themes in Global historiography. CILO-2: Critically discuss the major concepts and theoretical perspectives used in the writing of global history. CILO-3: Identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing scholarly literature on global history. CILO-4: Apply some global history methods and approaches in their future projects.
