This course will be designed according to students’ specific areas of research interest. Students will be required to get familiar with and have an in-depth understanding of the existing literature and research achievements in the field. Students will then be asked to explore the feasibility to make new scholarly contribution in the field of their particular interest. Pre-requisite: None

CILO-1: Identify major cases, evolution, and trends in the selected topics under discussion. CILO-2: Discuss key concepts, theories, and approaches in the selected topics. CILO-3: Apply relevant concepts and theories for analysis in the selected topics in international relations or comparative politics. CILO-4: Communicate the importance of essential analytical skills and scholarly competences in general.
