The seminar guides students into discussions after introducing the latest picture of the EU’s latest development in its Common Foreign & Security Policies one decade after the establishment of the European External Action Service under the Lisbon Treaty and also its actions in response to the geopolitical challenges at the global level.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify the background and formation of EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy as an integral part of its foreign policies.
CILO-2: Discuss the role in regional security and global stability of the Common Security and Defence Policy since the inception and operation from primary documents after the Lisbon Treaty.
CILO-3: Analyze events and moments of crisis in relation to security-political issues and for policies and discuss future institutional innovation in relevant aspects at the Union level.
CILO-4: Express and argue in a logical and professional manner and contribute to team dynamics.
