Course Description
The integration process in Europe is an ever evolving and multi-dimensional one. This seminar provides flexibility for introducing the latest topics about EU’s governance, politics social or public policies. The EU is facing several challenges and at times, conflicting socio-economic and political developments. Those issues need to be addressed with a complex conjunction of various policies from different angles that constitutes important features of the continuous process and progress of European integration.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify contemporary and controversial issues about Europe’s politics, governance, social or other relevant aspects.
CILO-2: Analyze actions and policies in response to such problems.
CILO-3: Discuss the tensions and opportunities of the relation between policies and politics in the European Union.
CILO-4: Discuss the issue of EU’s political leadership and the current development and innovation of public policies.
CILO-5: Present complexed concepts with good command of English.
