This course focuses on the public policy-making system in mainland China and includes an examination of policy making in specific sectors, such as industry, agriculture and the open-door policy.

CILO-1: Identify key points in the concept of policy process and the related theories in public policy. CILO-2: Discuss the similarity and dissimilarity in the policy process between other regimes and China. CILO-3: Apply the concept and theory learned in the course in various China social problems.
