This course aims at teaching students basic knowledges and more recent advances on mobile robotics, such as robot sensing, localization, mapping, and motion planning.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and optimization to mobile robotics problems.
CILO-2: Design and implement wheeled locomotion systems for mobile robots.
CILO-3: Develop probabilistic robotics models for robot sensing, localization, and mapping.
CILO-4: Implement and compare different Bayes Filters for robot localization and mapping.
CILO-5: Evaluate and apply path and motion planning algorithms for mobile robots in different environments.
