In this course, advanced single-phase heat transfer, such as the heat transfer for non-Newtonian fluid and the multiphase heat transfer, such as the liquid and gas mixture of fossil fuel will be introduced. The momentum and energy transport of the above-mentioned working fluid will be thoroughly covered and their applications, such as those in the biomedical and LNG industries will be explored.

CILO-1: Describe the non-Newtonian fluid and its momentum and heat transfer mechanisms. CILO-2: Explain the multiphase flow and its momentum and heat transfer mechanisms. CILO-3: Apply the heat transfer theory for non-Newtonian fluid in the hyperthymic of bio systems. CILO-4: Apply the heat transfer theroy for multiphase flow in the LNG production systems.
