Course Description
This course explores the fusion of digital gaming and education, focusing on hands-on engagement in designing, implementing, and evaluating game-based learning modules. Students uncover the vast potential of digital games in fostering robust learning outcomes while navigating challenges within traditional educational paradigms. Students actively engage in gaming experiences, exploring various gaming environments to deepen their understanding of how gaming intersects with learning. Through collaborative group projects, students undertake research spanning diverse facets of game-based learning, leading to a research project blending theoretical insights with empirical evidence from practical applications.
