This course is designed to help educators work with students with ADHD in their inclusive classroom. The course will further define the symptoms, characteristics and treatment of ADHD, and offer strategies to use within the classroom and with parents.

Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Articulate the knowledge of the characteristics of individuals with ADHD.
CILO-2: Explain why it is important to promote better peer relationships between individuals with and without ADHD.
CILO-3: Use evidence-based strategies to give advice on how to manage behaviours of individuals with ADHD.
CILO-4: Use evidence-based strategies to give advice on how to improve academic and non-academic skills of individuals with ADHD.
CILO-5: List the skills necessary to collaborate with parents of individuals with ADHD.
