Course Description
This course introduces psychological theories pertinent to the learning of students, and current views of how people learn. Particular focus is placed on linking theories to classroom situations. Topics included are: behavioristic, information- processing, constructivist, and humanistic theories of learning.

CILO-1: Describe the key concepts within contemporary learning theories.
CILO-2: Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of different learning theories.
CILO-3: Analyze studies related to subject-specific learning in educational settings.
CILO-4: Write a literature review on a specific educational psychology topic.
