This course addresses educational laws, regulations and policies. The impact of these laws, regulations and policies upon schools are analysed and examined. Students are encouraged to make suggestions regarding the ways in which some Macau educational laws and policies could be revised.

CILO-1: Compare a range of educational contexts, such as individual, schools and institutions, national and international contexts. CILO-2: Examine educational laws, regulations, and policies within specific historical and social contexts. CILO-3: Analyse the impact of educational laws, regulations, and policies on diverse stake holders. CILO-4: Synthesize individual experience and institutional structures/laws/policies. CILO-5: Articulate diverse theoretical frameworks relevant to a variety of educational laws, policies issues, and contexts to inform policy innovations.
