Course Description
This course is designed to provide an in-depth examination of special topics in curriculum and instruction. The course will focus on current and emerging issues, challenges, and trends in curriculum and instruction. Students will explore various perspectives and approaches related to curriculum design, implementation, and assessment. The course will be organized around different themes which are selected by the instructor to reflect the current interest in the field of curriculum and instruction. Through readings, discussions, and research, students will develop an understanding of the curriculum development process and the role of instruction in shaping educational experiences for students. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to examine and analyze curriculum materials, instruction, and assessment in a specific area as determined by the instructor. Pre-requisite: None
