本科旨在讓學生認識自十六世紀以來的澳門歷史及相關的教學方法，以便學生日後能夠在中學講授澳門歷史科課程。課程內容包括澳門歷史大事，政府組織，經濟及社會發展等。This course aims at equipping students with a thorough understanding of Macao history since the 16th century. They are expected to have a general understanding of the secondary school curricula concerning Macao history. Topics include the historical evolution, the government structure, and the economic and social development of Macao.
