Melodious Voice is a class voice course that aims to help students find their melodious voice, which means singing in tune and with personal tone quality, and to ultimately be confident to sing musically in public. To achieve this, the students will have ample exercises on techniques of vocalization including posture, breath support, pitch, and tone quality. Students will then perform different styles of vocal repertoire, including popular, folk, and film music, with relevant techniques like phrasing, diction, resonation, registration of voice, and expression. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate their singing skills in different vocal styles at the pre-Grade I to Grade III level (ABRSM).
