Course Description
In this course final-year students in economics develop and carry out individual research projects under the supervision of an economics staff member.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Explain the fundamental concepts, principles and ethics involved in conducting research within the social sciences, and specifically in the field of economics.
CILO-2: Apply analytical skills and critical thinking to evaluate existing research and theoretical models related to human populations.
CILO-3: Synthesize historical and contemporary information to contextualize new research findings within the broader field of social science research.
CILO-4: Create and execute research designs that incorporate principles and ethics of social-scientific data collection and interpretation, demonstrating an ability to apply theoretical models to the study of human populations and implement ethical research studies.
