This essentially interdisciplinary course aims to introduce students the basic principles & techniques for biomedical transducers and instrumentations. This course covers sensing and measurement for qualitative description and quantitative analysis in biomedical engineering field mainly on noninvasive techniques.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Recongize the fundamental principles in biomedical measurements of certain medical devices/insturment.
CILO-2: Evaluate the general design practices of biosafety and ethical considerations in biomedical measurements.
CILO-3: Use biomedical transducers and instrument for acquiring and processing biosignals, such as ExG and ultrasound.
CILO-4: Explain effectively across different fields (engineering & medical) through professional writing and presentation skills in the context of biomedical measurements.
