Course Description
1. EME session: This course provides some knowledge on advanced mathematics. It includes the study of differential equations. Method of Laplace Transform: transforms of derivatives, integrals and shifting. Principles of some numerical methods. Study of finite difference.
2. ECE session: In this course, it is intended to introduce students of engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, and related fields to those areas of applied mathematics that are most relevant for solving practical problems. This course will cover the following topics:
• ordinary differential equations,
• linear algebra,
• partial differential equations and Fourier analysis
• numerical analysis
• optimization
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Recongize how the mathematics works in the physical and engineering problems.
CILO-2: Apply the analytical and the numerical methods to solve related problems.
CILO-3: Use numerical methods to solve some problems.
