This is one of the fundamental courses in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master of Science Programme and is intended that it will provide the student with the basic knowledge about what is the research of one specific topic in the specialized areas of Power, Control or Electronics leading the student to make a survey on that topic and afterwards to write a report about it. This report will serve as an important basis for the future Thesis research work (that is the reson why it is mandatory). The responsibility of supervising this course is given to the student's Supervisor.

CILO-1: To introduce to the students the research methods. CILO-2: To develop the students capability on doing research literature review. CILO-3: To train up the students the capability of research report writing.
