This course examines interactions between communication and culture as experienced in virtual, mediated and face-to-face contexts. Covers a range of perspectives and research outcomes. Content areas vary according to instructor and student interest.

CILO-1: Describe, explain and evaluate communication and cultural studies, providing a foundation for designing and implementing effective communication and cultural studies. CILO-2: Assess the strengths and limitations of communication and culture studies. CILO-3: Design, implement, write, and present a study of communication and culture to effectively communicate study findings in written and oral formats. CILO-4: Apply knowledge gained from communication research to address contemporary communication and cultural problems.
