Research and Creative Activities is a graduate course designed to help students develop his/her own body of visual communication work through studio practice and research in art, design, and creative media. Studio component and instruction are tailored to the student’s individual investigations and research direction. The ultimate goal is to help students develop his/her own visually coherent and conceptually unified body of visual communication work.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify and explain his/her own research concept and implement such concept in the creative work.
CILO-2: Discuss how to develop a visually coherent and conceptually unified body of visual communication work.
CILO-3: Apply the knowledge gained in class to become a more effective artist, designer, scholar, and researcher in the areas of visual communication and creative media.
