Course Description
This course aims to investigate visual communication theory, aesthetics, and philosophy related to the formal and perceptual aspects of art, design and creative media. It sheds light on how art and design communicate and what art and design express through different styles, genres and media. The goal is for students to develop a holistic understanding of visual communication and art making, which serves as fundamental training for artists and designers and visual communication researchers.
