This course combines business administration and media production. It focuses on the technical, artistic and entrepreneurial aspects of media industries. Students will learn different aspects of managing print media, electronic media and the integrated new media.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Investigate key aspects of political, economic, social, and technological drivers (PEST) in both the traditional and new media.
CILO-2: Articulate the recent developments of regional and global media industry.
CILO-3: Examine and describe the impacts of new technologies in our society, such as the opportunities and threats related to Artificial Intelligence.
CILO-4: Articulate the everyday use of digital media in various settings.
CILO-5: Design a media plan for an integrated online and offline campaign; then deliver a professional presentation of this plan in a real-life setting.
