本課程主要通過課堂講授與練習，介紹編輯學的基本理論與基本知識，側重報刊新聞編輯，略述書刊編輯與影視編輯等基本知識。課程内容包括：編輯演變與類型，編輯的職責與修養，文稿的取捨、修改與配置，新聞標題的製作，報刊新聞版面的編輯技巧，報道或書稿選題的策劃與組織，圖片編輯，專刊和副刊編輯，廣播新聞編輯與電視新聞編輯。 This course teaches the fundamentals of desktop publishing in Chinese. Students will learn editing principles, theories, aesthetics and skills for creating and making various kinds of publications under diverse production contexts. Key topics include: the history of news editing, editorial ethics and roles, news and images editing, headline making and so on.
