This course integrates theory with practice, and prepares students for advanced video production. It teaches students how to operate the video camera and introduces them to digital editing software and other fundaments of video production: story board, composition, lighting, sound, and editing, as well as histories and genres of moving images. It uses various teaching formats: lectures, discussions, hands-on exercises, workshops, and screenings. Students will be required to complete small video projects. Completed works may be exhibited publicly.
