This is an introductory course that aims to provide an overview of the discipline of medicinal administration to the students. With an integrative vision of pharmacy and social science, the principles of and knowledge about modern pharmacy management, the approaches to medicinal management analysis, and the applications of evidence-based policy development and strategic planning in medicinal administration will be explained and discussed in details. Real-world case study in areas such as global drug research and development and drug-related laws and regulations (local, national and international) will be used to support the transformation of basic knowledge to practical skills. The students will also be supported to develop practical writing and presentation skills as important tools to communicate effectively about medicinal administration at international level.
