Course Description
There are two parts of this course:
1. linear algebra;
2. probability.
It aims at providing civil engineering students necessary mathematics tools in their study of core courses. Examples will be designed with civil engineering-related problems.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Solve linear algebraic equations and conduct eigenvalue analysis. [POs: a, e, l ]
CILO-2: Conduct the operations of matrices. [POs: a, e, l ]
CILO-3: State the main ideas about the application of linear algebra in civil engineering. [POs: a,e]
CILO-4: Apply probability analysis and thinking. [POs: a,e]
CILO-5: State the main ideas about probability analysis in civil engineering. [POs: a, e]
