Course Description
The course introduces students to the principles and methods of business process management. Topics include business process modeling foundation, process orchestrations, managing process flows, and process discovery techniques. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to apply various process modelling techniques, process flow analysis, and design principles in developing business processes.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply process discovery, quantitative process analysis methods and business process management principles to workflows in organizations.
CILO-2: Evaluate business processes as core, support and management processes to identify the process types, process architecture and process landscape.
CILO-3: Design process flows in business process modelling software.
CILO-4: Create redesigned business processes based on qualitative and quantitative analysis and process insights.
