This course aims at providing students with a solid foundation of cloud computing technologies. The topics include cloud computing applications, cloud services, cloud computing platforms, and big data processing engines.

CILO-1: An ability to interpret and describe the basic concepts of cloud computing and cloud services. CILO-2: An ability to interpret and describe big data processing engines (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, YARN, Spark, Storm) for large-scale data processing. CILO-3: An ability to apply the solutions of the leading cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Compute Platform.
