該課程以介紹、考察和分析澳門歷史與文學專題為主要內容。 專題主要包括：澳門文學、澳門城市發展和歷史建築、澳門宗教與信仰、澳門社會風俗、澳門飲食文化等專題。在課堂教學中重點引導學生認識澳門中西文化併存、融合和發展的原因及其特色，並通過教學和實地考察，培養學生收集、分析文學、歷史文化資料的能力，加深對澳門文化、文學的認識。

CILO-1: Gain the relationship between Macao History, Literature and society. CILO-2: Through the analysis of Literature and field trip study to know more about Macao urban and culture. CILO-3: Assess the cultural study method from the Macao Literature and Culture studies.
