Course Description
This is a pedagogical seminar, focusing on the curricular design and the method of teaching Chinese history, culture or language for the students of elementary and high schools. It will use class discussions and presentations to analyze and solve the most common problems in teaching the subject, technically, culturally and socially, and train and guide students to make curricular design for the course of 'Chinese History,' 'Chinese Culture' or 'Chinese language,' and strengthen their teaching capability and skill through practice, making a well-designed, very practical and well-suited curricular design for the courses.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Discuss the information of curricular design and the teaching methodology of Chinese history, culture or language for students of elementary and high schools.
CILO-2: Analyze and solve the most common problems in teaching the subject technically, culturally and socially through class discussions and presentations of this course.
CILO-3: Communicate the design for the course of “Chinese History,” “Chinese Culture” or “Chinese language,”. Locate, paraphrase and evaluate different course designs to strengthen their teaching capability and skill.
