Course Description
In this course, special topics in emerging materials will be presented by students, faculty and guest speakers.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to describe the latest research progress in fields of topological materials, two-dimensional materials, quantum information and quantum qubit, metamaterials and metasurfaces.
CILO-2: Students will be able to explain how the following materials change our daily life: solar-power harvesting materials, organic light-emitting diode, electrocatalysts and hydrogen storage materials.
CILO-3: Students will be able to apply the knowledge of battery materials, interfacial materials, sensors and actuators in their research work.
CILO-4: Students will be able to work with team members to broaden the horizons of material science in quantum dots in immunology.
