The course will introduce the general synthesis methodologies in material science based on Physics and Chemistry principles. Exploration and applications of novel and functional materials, especially in modern technology, will also be covered in the course.

CILO-1: Describe a coherent knowledge to the physical and chemical preparation/synthesis methodology in material science. CILO-2: Summarize and explain the general synthesis methods in material science. CILO-3: Apply the methodology in materials science from fundamentals to applications for different fields.
