Introduction of analytical chemistry, including the concept of analytical chemistry, sample preparation, analysis methods, quality control, as well as analytic techniques for environmental science. Related experiments will also be arranged in this course.

CILO-1: Summarize and explain the concepts of principles in analytical chemistry. CILO-2: Apply the analytical methods to accurately detect trace amount of chemicals. CILO-3: Describe quality control in analytical and environmental chemistry. CILO-4: Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team to conduct the experiments for analyzing environmental science.
