Course Description
The course is the extension of Advanced Mathematics I. The course aims at providing mathematical concepts and methods to students in the study of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics as well as statistical mechanics. The topics will cover infinite series, Fourier series and transformation, ordinary differential equations,probability.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply the knowledge of mathematical concepts to develop the infinite series.
CILO-2: Describe the concepts in Fourier series, Fourier transform, as well as their applications in physics.
CILO-3: Interpret the concept in ordinary differential equations and Linear equations.
CILO-4: Summarize and explain the concepts in probability.
