Course Description
This course addresses the basic concepts of classical and modern physics through lectures and laboratory experiments. Topics include: mechanics system, oscillation and wave motion, foundation of thermodynamics, electromagnetism and optics, quantum mechanics, theory of relativity and other contemporary physics, etc.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Explain and analyze the motions of objects.
CILO-2: Explain the vibrations and explain the various phenomena of waves.
CILO-3: Describe the thermodynamic states of gas and know the relationship between the transformation of the energy, work and heat.
CILO-4: Apply the laws of electric and magnetic field.
CILO-5: Explain the various phenomena of optics related to wave nature.
CILO-6: Explain the birth and physics of the quantum mechanics.
