The course aims at providing mathematical concepts and methods to students in the study of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics as well as statistical mechanics. The topics will cover linear algebra, vector calculus, special functions, complex numbers and hyperbolic functions.

CILO-1: Describe the mathematical concepts such as algebra and calculus. CILO-2: Apply the integration and Taylor expansion for study of physics. CILO-3: Build the connection between the mathematics and physics. CILO-4: Interpret the concept in complex number for their further study on complex analysis.
