Course Description
This 1.5-credit course is designed with internship components to prepare students who are majoring in the Professional Accountancy and Accounting and Information Systems. It aims at providing students a broad exposure to the operations of Accounting and knowledge of work procedures. Students are supervised directly by professionals in organizations who communicate directly with the course coordinator. While each learning experience will differ depending on the type of organization, situation, and duration, the course coordinator will guide and assist students through their profession-oriented learning process. At the end of the internship, each student shall able to embark on a career with hands-on industry experience.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Illustrate their relevant experience working in the field of Accounting that can be identified in the classroom theory.
CILO-2: Transform their practical and managerial skills in the working environment and be able to demonstrate them effectively.
CILO-3: Recall the information and experience to both support and assess the learning process.
CILO-4: Transform in the decision making process in relation to which management direction they wish to pursue.
